Started with two chairs and a borrowed espresso machine.
Realplay Restro opened as a single counter and a handful of mismatched chairs, run on the idea that a neighbourhood needs somewhere to slow down after dark. Nine years on, the chairs still don't match, and that's on purpose.
The lights come down at five, the candles come out, and the kitchen keeps going long enough that nobody has to choose between dinner and dessert.
